I went to this gynecologist in Marrakech because I was experiencing some pain. During an ultrasound, a small nodule was found in my uterus. Instead of reassuring me or suggesting further tests, she immediately tried to scare me by saying it was cancer — without doing any analysis or biopsy. She even gave me an example of another woman who supposedly had the same issue and had to undergo surgery to remove her uterus at Clinique Matar. She strongly pushed me to do a blood test at a specific lab near her office, which I later found out gives her a commission. Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion. The other gynecologist was much more professional and explained that this type of nodule is common and usually harmless unless it grows. He told me that if there’s any real concern about cancer, a biopsy — not surgery — is the correct next step. Please be cautious of doctors who prioritize money over patient care. This is a noble profession and should not be treated like a business.

Dr. Nadia Simamri was very nice, gentle, patient, and accommodating. I’m an American in Marrakech and don’t speak French or Arabic and we spoke through google translate during the appointment. I highly recommend her! They are cash only.
