Dr Fatima-Ezzohra Essaadi

Last week, I went to see Dr. Saadi with a Nigerian friend. The warm welcome, attentiveness, and understanding are the hallmarks of Dr. Saadi's care. I can't thank her or her two assistants enough. I highly recommend this practice.

I had a consultation with Dr. Essaadi. She is such a kind and gentle woman who takes her time to examine, reassure, and put you at ease. Her assistants provide impeccable service, and the office is clean with high-quality equipment. A doctor of such compassion, I believe she is one of the best in Marrakech. I would have given her more than 5 stars because she deserves even more. Thank you, Dr. Essaadi.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this doctor. After an ultrasound revealed my pregnancy, she asked me to have a beta-hCG test. The result unfortunately confirmed that I had miscarried. Despite the seriousness of the situation, when I sent her the results, she showed no interest and offered no follow-up care. Her assistant, moreover, spoke to me in an unacceptable and disrespectful manner, even stating explicitly that priority is given to new patients because they are the ones paying for the consultation. A shocking lack of compassion, humanity, and professionalism.

The doctor gives you your time, but the assistance needs to be reconsidered. I went back and forth three times to get the invoice. I told her the insurance company wanted a detailed invoice with everything, but she just did what she wanted and told me, "That's how we do it." The report was unsealed, and every time I went, I had to wait, which wasted time. I waited half a day just to see the doctor. The doctor is competent, but the way you're treated, from reception to getting your file ready for reimbursement, is crucial. Because of this, I won't consider going back; you need a lot of patience, unfortunately.

For the context, i went for a general check up, i am not pregnant, i had no health issues, and it was my first time there. A horrible experience, a huge disappointment in term of communication and organization. I called tuesday to book friday after work, then i called Wednesday morning to move the appointment to Wednesday after work which is 4:30pm ( if possible) and they agreed and gave me that appointment. I went there on time, found the waiting room pretty full, i asked if i should wait for all the patients in the room to be taken before me or i ll still be served on my appointment, they didn’t give me a net and clear answer and told me to just wait, and i was okay with that, and i was mentally prepared to wait for all the patients to pass first, at 6:15 new clients arrived ( the cabinet closes its doors at 6:00 pm so i was confused) and they were served at 6:20!! Even before some patients that i ve already found waiting before me! The total of the patients that walked in before us was 5! I was quiet confused, when i asked why, they told me that those patients have already booked for that appointment two months before, i told them i booked an appointment too! They said i booked a day before so it doesn’t matter, so i asked if my appointment is already belongs to someone else and they gave it to me by mistake! A grown lady which was a secretary got in the conversation and told me that i have to wait and told me again that i booked the day before, i told her that they should have at least told me on the phone that they prioritize people who book much longer before others, and prepare me that its a busy evening so I would cancel my plans for the rest of the day and wait. The lady got defensive and literally told me : شنو بغيتيني ندير ليك، عجبك الحال هو هداك ماعجبكش ماعندي ماندير ليك !!!! And left while i was talking!! i was so gentle and polite throughout the whole time, and was genuinely asking why some people were served before others cause i was confused. A patient who had no appointment and its her first time too ( the patient told me herself) was also served before me ( we were the last two patients in the room) I ended up in at 7:00 pm ! The 30 min examination went well, the doctor was very expressive and explained all my concerns, responded well to my needs. when I finished the examination i talked about the communication problem, but unfortunately the doctor herself was defensive too after hearing the secretary’s side of story first. I tried to explain that my problem was no longer being served right on time, nor the delay and i do understand that it could be some unexpected situations, and my problem was seeing other patients arrive late and still be prioritized over others with no justification. ( urgent cases ) And the disrespect coming from the secretary is not tolerated, i am not paying to be disrespected! In addition to all of that, the bathroom was dirty and smelled like pee, no air refresher! I went there based on the reviews in google, so I got high expectations, I wouldn’t recommend going there if you’re looking for a professional and practical experience, and its not worth 3 hours of waiting.
